Delivery & Dispatch Tracker

A record of shipments, dispatch status and delivery confirmation from the warehouse to the recipient.

Warehouse completion does not necessarily mean the customer received the goods. Dispatch staff and service teams need to see the shipment's progress and exceptions. A tracker bridges that gap, making failed delivery attempts or missing confirmation visible for follow-up.

What it manages

Shipment records can hold the order reference, delivery address, assigned carrier or driver, planned date and proof of delivery. It focuses on transport and exceptions. The order system remains responsible for the sale, while inventory records the stock issued.

03

How it works in a business

A ready order creates a dispatch record. Staff assign transport and confirm collection. The driver or carrier update records delivery or a failed attempt; the responsible team follows up delays, address problems or returns against the same shipment.

04

What SFn can customise

SFn can configure delivery states, dispatch lists and evidence capture. Carrier interfaces and order systems can be connected where available. Mobile updates, location data and offline requirements need explicit scope rather than being assumed features of every delivery workflow.
