A recurring report should arrive with the right period, data and recipients without staff rebuilding it each time. This workflow organises that preparation and delivery. It suits predictable reporting tasks where an absent owner or failed refresh otherwise leaves the next team without information.

What it manages
Schedules can specify the report, period, format, recipient group and delivery channel. A report should identify the data period and refresh time. Automated delivery differs from a live dashboard because the recipient receives a snapshot whose information may change after it is generated.

How it works in a business
At the scheduled time, the system checks the source data and generates the agreed output. Successful delivery is logged. A failed refresh or export alerts the responsible owner rather than sending an empty or stale report that appears complete.

SFn can configure report schedules, templates and recipient permissions. Dashboard or reporting data can supply the outputs. File size, sensitive attachments, failed delivery and holiday schedules need checks before recurring distribution is enabled.
